Emily Cabral is a Brazilian-American, first-generation college graduate who earned her Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Raised with strong values around hard work and community, she brings both strategy and creativity to everything she does. Before social media became her career, Emily was the friend who documented it all: curating photos, editing videos, and capturing the small details. With a natural love for photography and storytelling, she always knew she was meant to work in a creative space.
While studying at UMass Boston, Emily began her career in hospitality at Lucy’s American Tavern, where she became known for her professionalism, warmth, and commitment to exceptional guest experiences. Her strong work ethic and natural leadership led her to become a trainer, mentoring new team members and reinforcing the Maverick standard of service. This foundation gave her a deep understanding of customer behavior, brand loyalty, and the importance of delivering consistent, high-quality experiences that keep guests coming back. Emily’s eye for aesthetics and passion for photography led her into social media and digital marketing, where she worked alongside Jen and Kate to elevate brand presence across multiple Maverick locations. She combines creativity with analytics to produce authentic, story-driven content that strengthens brand identity and makes people excited to walk through the doors. She believes great marketing doesn’t just promote; it invites, motivates, and builds community. Drawing from her immigrant roots, she strives to create spaces both online and in person where everyone feels welcomed, comfortable, and seen. Known for her kind heart, Emily loves being a teammate people can rely on and feel comfortable with.
